If you are a BaseLoom partner, you must tell clients and audiences that you are paid when they subscribe. Copy one of the texts below and place it next to your recommendation: in the email, the proposal, the post or the talk itself, not only in a footer or a linked page. Change the words in square brackets. Our Partner Agreement explains the rule.

Full version (emails and proposals)

About my recommendation. I am a referral partner of BaseLoom. If you subscribe to a BaseLoom tool through my link, BaseLoom pays me a referral fee of 30 percent of the price you pay before tax, for as long as you stay subscribed. It does not change the price you pay. I recommend tools I believe fit your needs, but you should weigh my recommendation knowing I am paid for it. If you prefer, I can decline the fee or, where available, have it passed to you as a discount. Just ask.

If you have declined the fee

About my recommendation. I am a referral partner of BaseLoom, but I have chosen not to receive any fee for your subscription.

If the fee goes to the client as a discount

About my recommendation. I am a referral partner of BaseLoom. I have asked BaseLoom to give you the referral fee as a discount on your subscription instead of paying it to me.

One-line version (social posts, slides, short messages)

I receive a referral fee from BaseLoom if you subscribe.

On social media, you may also add a clear tag such as "#ad" or "Paid partner" at the start of the post, as the platform or local rules require.

Licensed professionals

If you are an accountant, auditor, attorney, investment adviser, insurance producer or other licensed professional, your professional rules may require more than this text, such as written client consent, or may forbid the fee for some clients (for example audit clients). Those rules come first. You can decline the fee at any time, or pass it to the client as a discount where available.
