Method1The acknowledgment file is split into its ISA envelopes; each is read with its own delimiters and envelope checks. TA1 segments are read directly because they sit outside any functional group.
2A set is acknowledged by a 997 whose AK1 group control equals its GS06 and whose AK2 transaction control equals its ST02 (leading zeros ignored). A 997 with no AK2 loops acknowledges every set in the group with its AK9 status. The partner ID or name breaks ties when control numbers repeat across partners.
